Fabric bunting was used to frame out the area above and the poles on the sides were covered in fabric strips. At dinner, each guest had their own heart with their name hand-stitched and attached with a safety pin. They were also used as props in the Smilebooth. A fabric installation was created over the entryway to make a big impact as people walked in. It was made of braided fabric, hand-sewn garland, fabric strips, and lights. Guests wrote messages to the Max and Margaux on strips of fabric and then hung them up on baker's twine with miniature clothespins.
